2 TOURISM PRODUCTS OF SUN WORLD FANSIPAN LEGEND SIMULTANEOUSLY SET A VIETNAM RECORD

On December 28, the Vietnam Record organization handed over the double record to the Muong Hoa mountain climbing train complex and the art show “Dance on the Cloud” in Sun World Fansipan Legend (Sa Pa, Lao Cai), at the same time Sa Pa Town received the decision to establish the town, marking a special milestone in the construction and development of “the town in the mist”.

Accordingly, the record “The longest mountain climbing train in Vietnam” was awarded to Muong Hoa Mountain Railway and the record “The most unique Show inspired by Northwestern Culture in Vietnam” was awarded to the art show “Dance on the Cloud”.

These are two of many unique tourism products of Sun World Fansipan Legend invested by Sun Group in Sa Pa. Previously, Sun World Fansipan Legend has just been awarded by the World Travel Awards in honor of “The World’s Leading Cultural Tourist Attraction 2019” and “Vietnam’s Leading Attractive Destination 2019”.

On the same day, at the center stadium of Sa Pa town, the leaders and local people were happy to receive the decision to establish Sa Pa Town, opening a new development step for Sa Pa.

To celebrate this event, Sa Pa organizes low-level fireworks at the center of the town on the evening of December 28 with a complete socialization funding, sponsored by Fansipan Sa Pa Cable Car Services & Tourism Limited Liability Company. Along with that, many special programs such as Fansipan Winter Festival 2019 lasting from November 31, 2019 to January 1, 2020 at the Sun World Fansipan Legend tourist area, the exhibition “Sapa – journey from a resort station to an international national resort” at Sa Pa Tourist House during December 2019 are also jubilantly taking place, celebrating the special event of “the town in the mist”.

Muong Hoa mountain-climbing train is the most modern mountain climbing train in Vietnam, built and put into operation by March 31, 2018, and has soon become the new favorite mean of transportation in Sa Pa. With a total length of 1,660.01m, height difference of 106.11m, each car has a length of 20m, width of 3m, weight of 25 tons, this is the longest mountain railway in Vietnam to date. The project was designed and produced by the world-known Garaventa (Switzerland), with a splendid railway station designed by the world’s top 5 leading architects Bill Bensley.

Meanwhile, the art show “Dance on the Cloud” by director Pham Hoang Nam and two famous choreographers, People’s Artist Kieu Le, Meritorious Artist Hung Phong and musician Manh Tien, brings a large scale and unique cultural tourism product like never before in Lao Cai.

After two new international tourism awards awarded by the World Travel Awards, Vietnam Record organization confirmed the double record for Muong Hoa Mountain Climbing Railway and the Art show “Dance on the Cloud” at Sun World Fansipan Legend, at the same time Sa Pa was awarded the decision to establish the town with great significance for the development of Sapa tourism.
